Problem I have a Keyboardio Atreus keyboard, its one of the smallest mechanical keyboards I have and of course I would like to take it with me to work and while traveling for work. The current problem is I don’t want to toss it in my backpack and risk breaking it and or loosing switches and keycaps in my backpack.
I began looking for a case for a Keyboardio Atreus keyboard, found this one but did not want to spend $30 on a soft nylon bag style case from the Keyboardio store mainly because for the money this soft case did not seem to provide any more than minimal protection for the keyboard.
Introduction After some recent updates where installed by Microsoft for Windows 11 Pro Microsoft 2024-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5041585), this is what happened when my laptop rebooted with Linux Mint 21.3 dual boot. To be able to generate a QR code on Apple devices you will need the Apple Shortcuts app installed.
This was a mystery to many myself included, but I say it is possible to connect to Wi-Fi using a QR code. It’s not well advertised by Apple. And most of the time Apples built in magical automatic Wi-Fi password sharing works as follows. That in short is where you try to connect to Wi-Fi and then someone near you also on an Apple device can click a prompt and share the password to you.
After finding the #images share favorite on Apple Messages, I wondered if there was a way to make a GIF right on iPhone / iPad. There is here is what I found.
Make a GIF using Shortcuts Open the Shortcuts application.
Go to All Shortcuts
Click +
Search for ‘gif’
Select Make GIF
Configure it to prompt for selecting a photo
Press play button to run the new shortcut
Select video to convert

Problem: I need faster usb ports on a vintage MacBook Pro that has Thunderbolt 1 what are my options? Introduction and Background For example, I have been using a MacBook Pro Late 2011. I put this Coffee maker filter stand together back in the 2010 time frame as an alternative to using many throw away in-expensive coffee makers over a short recurring time frame. Not quite sure how I came up with this, but just kind of put it together, maybe from miss using chemistry lab stuff for cooking. For more information on how to assemble and build one of these yourself Lab Stand Coffee Maker - GitHub Drip mode While this worked for months, it had some downsides, random water flow when first starting, causing hot water to at first out and miss the filter basket for about a splash of water.
